Our AYS Commercial above was filmed in October '09 and includes the young people of Hanson Place SDA Church.  We thank God for our young people who are allowing themselves to be used by God and we pray our efforts throughout this year, "The Year of the Youth" will exhibit the characteristics from the fruit of the spirit.  We ask God to be with us and guide us as become living examples of our theme, "Back-2-Basics: Bearing the fruit of the Spirit".

2010 has been designated as the "Year of the Youth" at Hanson Place SDA Church, and our theme is "Back-2-Basics: Bearing the fruit of the spirit".  We are committed to doing service for the Lord, enriching our lives, enriching our relationship with Christ and with those we come in contact, and most importantly, endeavoring to be faithful to Him till the end.  You're invited to come and worship with us, sing with us, pray with us, celebrate with us, and lift up Jesus Christ with us!



We will be having 10 Youth Day celebrations this year, beginning on January 23, 2010 and for this month, July,  our Youth Day will be held on Sabbath September 11th when our guest speaker will be Pastor Roger R. Wade, (pictured above), Youth Ministries Director for the Southwest Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventist .  Pastor Wade has a passion for the church's most precious resource --‐ the youth. He has worked in Youth Ministries for the past 34 years leading out as AY leader, Pathfinder leader, Conference Youth Federation Officer, Youth Camp Assistant Director, Special Assistant to the Youth Director, Assistant Youth Director, Youth Director and Served as the first Director of the National Black Youth Resource Center, which was on the Campus of Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama.  We welcome Pastor Wade and look forward to God blessing us with a word through His manservant.
