Departmental Objectives for 2012
 
1) Implementation of the church redesigned website:
Go Live date: Sunday, January 29, 2012.  I would like to present this to the Church during Business meeting, only if time permits.
 
2) Highlight website features:
a) Online Giving, 
b) Testimonial, and
c) Prayer Request received through the website. 
Have weekly announcements or emphasis of these three areas. During divine worship.
 
3) Have DVD Copies of each Sabbath’s services available after AY.
 
4) Archived Sabbath Sermons:
Upload Sabbath Sermons to our online archived section no later than Tuesday of the following week.
 
5) Church Newsletter:
Publish a quarterly Newsletter, first version to be publish by March 30, 2012. 
 
6) Website Content:
Provide dynamic, uplifting articles and segments. A different department will be featured each month.  Our two Pastors will have first bid for submittals of articles.
 
7) Wireless Internet Coverage on church premises:
Provide internet access on Sabbaths in all areas of the church with a low cost solution to members. Free internet access on Sabbath will be from 10am to 10pm.  This service will not impact the church’s bandwidth, as the church’s network will be completely isolated.
 
8) Provide better Support for Guest Speakers/Presenters with iPad:
Provide guest speakers/presenters with the ability to use Apple Airplay feature to stream their content to our projectors.  This will eliminate the need for a clicker or manual changing of the slides from the audio room.
 
9) Branding:
Use the Hanson Place Logo on all internal and external communications. The logo has being in circulation for the last 18 months.
 
10) Upgrade our Cameras and video mixer for online streaming.  Have quarterly training for team members
 
11)  Work with church office to reduce the weekly cost of producing bulletins.
 
12)  Create an online distribution email list for newsletters.
 
13)  Create online forms to help with request to the church office.  Various Church Forms (Baby Presentations, Use of church Pioneers’ Hall, Funerals/Weddings,)  for easy downloading from the website
