Programs
Book Club- Meets every other Wednesday in the Primary Room
The book club segment has been established to help grow our minds as we discuss interesting and thought-provoking Christian books pertaining to singles. The current book being discussed is entitled "Experiencing God" by Henry Blackaby.
Courtship / Pre-engagement Mentoring Program - Meets Monthly
This mentoring program seeks to utilize the married couples and singles at Hanson Place as our mentors. These individuals are invited to share their experiences during courtship, and answer questions that are pressing our singles today. CSI,InC hopes this mentoring program will help create and foster lasting relationships/friendships for all singles in their current and future relationships.
Single Bible Study - Coming Soon
Various Bible studies that offer encouragement to singles will be looked at and debated. We will focus on singles in the bible and how it offers support and guidance to singles today, as well as understand God’s role for the singles and how we can go about carrying out His desires.
Missionary and Community Outreach Ministry
Our singles participate in bimonthly visitation to the sick and shut in at home and in nursing homes.We will also help our seniors and disabled members with their household needs, such as laundry,shopping, cleaning, etc. In addition, we will be coordinating with other departments to participate in missionary outreach to witness for the Lord.
Singles Outings
Our group participates in monthly social outings and events geared ‘for singles only’ to various establishments such as plays, museums, dinner, picnics, bowling, etc.
